‘G1’ class Explain '‘G1’ 0-8-0 Locomotive Class' No.326 hauls a special goods train through Northampton conveying an ‘out-of-gauge’ load from Barrow-in-Furness to Poplar, May 1921. The rotary kilns are 10ft wide and signalmen would have to check the route is clear for height, etc. In the background is an arc-roof Explain 'Arc Roof Carriage' 8-Wheeled radial underframe coach.
