Modelling Gauge 3

Its the 2pm Corridor approaching Holyhead behind a Patriot. The engine must be new as all the carriages are still in full LNWR livery. The first van started life as a Basset-Lowke wooden model, but the 12-wheelers are a mixture of circa 1909 Carson cast aluminium sides and ends, and recent versions scratch built by Brian Badger.

Gauge 3 Scale Locomotives

This list attempts to record the kits that have been produced of LNWR locomotives. It lists them in the order in which the locos appear in An Illustrated History of LNWR Engines by Edward Talbot. Where an asterisk appears against a kit it indicates that it is not currently in production (2010). It may, however, be available on the secondhand market.
