Four pages, 2 prototype and one model photographs, bibliography. The drawings cover as built condition, as built by Beardmore’s, a Beardmore engine as running in LMS days and 'Tishy' no. 964 Bret Harte.

The article includes a full-page reproduction of the 6-inch OS map of 1947 which shows the connection to the ex-LNW line.
